Lamb Farm Organic Shortbread is handmade in small batches from certified organic ingredients at our on-site Farm Kitchen.
“Shortbread” is not a bread at all, but a cross between a butter cookie and a fine pastry. “Short” refers not to its height, but to the high butter content that prevents long protein strands (or gluten) forming in the dough. Just four simple ingredients – organic flour, organic butter, organic sugar, and salt – yield the tender, crumbly texture of our delicious shortbread.
